We are a 501(c)(3) dedicated to rescuing and advocating for the homeless, abused and abandoned domestic animals of NJ with a main focus in our inner cities. BCR was established and incorporated in March of 2017 and was granted our 501(c)(3) status in August of the same year. Since then we have saved over 80 Pitbulls from hi-kill shelters and off the unforgiving streets of NJ. We have also helped unfortunate families to keep their pets by offering assistance covering their medical costs and offered free in home training and pet ownership education. All funds raised will be put toward our new facility. We have fallen short of our down payment to qualify for an actual establishment to rehabilitate, decompress, train, house and care for our animals. Once opened we will offer training, doggie daycare, overnight boarding and grooming for all our animals and those of the public if space is available. We handle all medical care, offer 24 hr foster/adopter support, training, provide supplies, boarding and any other means we may need to ensure these animals find their forever homes and escape their fate of euthanasia. We specialize in the “Bully” breed and offer education and awareness to their fosters, adopters and the ever judging community. No pledge is too small, no feat is unachievable. We are dreaming big and we know with your help we can make this happen. Our new location will be in Lincoln Park, NJ. (Photos to come) and it will need some renovations and fencing done around the 4 ACRE property. Brick City Rescue & the animals you help save appreciate your support.
