Brian's Song 2.0

Many of you know my four boys and the love we share. Well, my oldest, beautiful Brian is in need of help. In April, he was diagnosed with Neuromylitis Optica Spectrum Disease. A rare, debilitating demyelineating nervous system disease which kills in 5 years if left untreated. The medication approved by the FDA just in April costs $65,000 per treatment and Brian now needs an infusion of this medication every six months for the rest of his life. As most of you know, Brian is a RN at Children's Hospital in the CardiaoThoracic ICU. He does have insurance but as of Friday, June 23, his insurance company, has denied his claim x2 because the drug is so new. Brian can not work because his symptoms are so debilitating. We as a family are trying to help but medical costs are accumulating rapidly. Any help towards meeting Brian's medical needs would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. The Beckmans
