Brian&Lindsey’s Cancer Journey

My brother Brian, his wife Lindsey, and their two young children are in need of prayers and support now more than ever.
Brian has very bravely fought aggressive brain cancer for the last six years with his wife Lindsey by his side every step of the way. Last May, at 36 years old, Brian’s brain cancer returned in the form of a Glioblastoma. We’ve had miracles and we’ve felt hope throughout the years, but after his fourth and final brain surgery this month, we were devastated to learn that there are no longer any remaining treatment options for him as his cancer has spread over a good portion of his brain. My brother was enrolled in hospice last week. A few days after making that heartbreaking decision doctors discovered that Lindsey has Renal Cell Carcinoma, Kidney Cancer. What are the odds? It seems both unthinkable and impossible for Lindsey to be diagnosed with cancer now of all times. It is yet another devastating blow that no one could have prepared themselves for.
Brian and Lindsey are true angels on Earth. They love with their whole hearts and they are both true a servants of our Heavenly Father. I believe that it is faith in our Savior and the love and prayers from family, friends and strangers alike that sustain us all during this unimaginably difficult time.
