It was an incredible honor to be awarded the title of Miss Miracle Mile Teen, giving me the opportunity to compete in Miss California Teen USA. I'm excited to compete for the crown because I know I would wear it with pride representing the great state of California.
But this isn't just about a crown, it's really about opportunity - the chance to learn from so many people and to set an example for young women in our state, empowering them to be confident in who they are and to make a difference in their community by working with charities and non profit organizations.
I know I look forward to that opportunity to give back. I will be grateful to have the chance to work with all of the important charities and non-profit organizations associated with Miss California Teen USA. The organization that most hits home for me is the American Cancer Society. I feel such empathy for the people who are dealing with cancer, along with their families, and I am inspired by those who are able to overcome it. Having the chance to bring more awareness is a big reason I want to be Miss California Teen USA.
