Help for the Hastings Family

Brian Hastings was on his way home from work on Friday, May 4th when he was involved in a horrific car accident less than a mile from his home in Kent, CT. He was transported by LifeStar helicopter to St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, where he underwent five hours of emergency surgery. Challenges lay ahead, some known, but many unknown.

Brian’s family includes his wife Heather, their two-year-old son Becket, and stepchildren Tyler (23) and Kori Rimany (22). Before the accident, Brian was healthy and active.  He was and will continue to be a very involved father to Becket, Tyler, and Kori. He is currently employed as the Director of Student Life at Wooster School in Danbury, CT and previously worked at The Marvelwood School in Kent, CT, where his wife is currently the Dean of Students.  Throughout his career in education, Brian has impacted countless lives as a teacher and a coach. He is not one to shy away from adversity, and there is no doubt he will face his recovery and rehabilitation with determination and focus.
