Brian Ellison Road to Recovery

On July 3rd Brian sustained a serious spinal cord injury while swimming. While the medical staff attending to Brian are amazed at his ability to joke and maintain such a positive attitude during such a difficult time, it comes as no surprise to Brian’s family and friends or to Shane – who has not left his side. Brian and Shane are so thankful for all the prayers, visitors and outpouring of support from everyone. So many have asked how they could help. The long-term need is financial assistance. Medical bills are already mounting. Brian will be inpatient in a long-term rehabilitation facility for therapy.  He will also have equipment, and home adaptability needs such as electric wheelchair and portable lift to name a couple which will also have a finical impact on the family. We will be updating you on Brian’s journey. Again we want to thank each one of you for the love and support you have given and will continue to give Brian and Shane during this difficult time.
