Brett and Tori's IVF fund

Donation protected

Brett and Tori were married in November 2014 in a small, private ceremony; their formal wedding was held in September of 2015. Brett is in the US Air Force while Tori is employed at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital. They currently reside in Albuquerque, NM on Kirtland AFB.

Brett and Tori have been trying to start a family since September 2015. Their first thought was that everyone in both their families haven’t experienced difficulties conceiving so why should they. Tori was diagnosed with metastatic thyroid cancer in 2010, but was assured the diagnosis wouldn't affect fertility. Nine months after trying, they started to suspect something wasn't quite right. After visiting with a doctor on base, they were referred to an infertility doctor. Initial testing came back normal so they didn't think anything of it and took the prescribed medication. On July 4th, 2016 they found out they were expecting!

They were so excited to finally become a family. However, very early in the pregnancy, their worst nightmare was realized. After a few months break they sought help from a different specialist, deciding to try another procedure. Success!! They told all of their family in late April 2017 of the good news and pending arrival of a baby. Unfortunately, in early May 2017, Tori noticed something was wrong. An emergency visit to the doctor revealed sad news – their second pregnancy was lost. Due to complications, IVF has been deemed as their only safe option.

Much research is being done to select a specialist and facility which most  will take Brett and Tori out of state for IVF due to inflated costs in New Mexico.

This young couple wants more than anything to have a baby. They have met with fertility specialists in Phoenix, AZ, though it will be far from home, it is significantly less expensive. Please help this loving couple achieve their biggest dream, having a family!
