Southern Maryland Relief is fundraising to hopefully provide a better tomorrow to those suffering with addiction.
Drug overdose deaths continue to increase in the United States. From 1999 to 2018, more than 700,000 people have died from a drug overdose. Around 68% of the more than 70,200 drug overdose deaths in 2018 involved an opioid.
My name is Michelle and I am one of the owners here at Southern Maryland Relief. July 2, of last year I lost my younger sister to heroin addiction. I am starting this foundation in her memory. At the end of this month all proceeds collected will be donated to Lifestyles of Southern Maryland, to hopefully provide someone a second chance at life.
