Brent Mather Family Fund
Donation protected
Brent is a loving husband, father, and brother. He has dedicated the majority of his adult life to the service of his country in the Army Reserves (retired after 23 years) and presently as a Department of Defense employee. In March of 2017 he suffered a stroke that left him with 12 % vision, major depression, and unable to walk without the assistance of a walker or cane. His spouse has a medical condition that limits her assistance with his care. He recently stuffed another setback that required hospitalization in the intensive care unit and placement on a ventilator.
Brent will be transferred soon to a rehabilitation facility. He will require intensive physical, occupational, psychological, and speech therapy to regain his abilities to care for himself. He has exhausted all of his family's savings and benefits paying for copays and out of pocket medical care.
The funds are needed immediately to pay for his medical care, and outstanding bills he has accumulated over the course of his illness. Additionally if there are any therapist that can donate their time to assist his family thru this difficult period that would be a great help also.
