Brendon Bowler, 17yrs old, In Loving Memory.

It is with great sorrow we will be saying goodbye to a wonderful  basketball player and friend, Brendon Bowler.  Our hearts are heavy with shock and grief at the news that our Lindsay Wildcat basketball player Brendon Bowler, at only 17 yrs old, was senselessly killed on Monday in a stabbing in Scarborough.   The heartfelt  words of one of his Coaches speaks for us all: "Brendon was a great kid, who played basketball with a passion and determination that I don't think that I've ever seen in another player. He lived and breathed basketball, and he will be deeply missed by those who played with him, those who coached him, and those who knew him. "
One of his teammates beautifully said "He was a guy who inspired his teammates to become better than they ever imagined". 
We will never forget his passion. His sportsmanship was infectious and spread to all those he played with.  We will forever remember the look of awe and admiration as his little brother watched him play.
In loving support of this young boys Family, we hope to help them in this most difficult time with Funeral costs. Funds to help his parents with the Funeral costs will be appreciated with no words to express how much so. Please help ease this financial burden if you can. The Service will be this Tuesday.
