Brenda's Mom Felicitas Varela Needs Help After Fire Loss

My name is Brenda R and my mom’s house today 1/7/2025 suffered a total loss of her home due to a fire in the next door neighbors home. Fire is still under investigation by the police and fire department. This is not the first time my mother faces this same challenge. Back in 1984 her home was totaled by a fire and she had to build her home from scratch with the help of the community from labor to money she was able to obtain her home for the next 41 years. Fortunately, today’s only loss is material and not her life or health. Her home is totaled once again and since my mom refuses to ask for the help of the community once again, my sister and I, decided to do this on her behalf. Speaking briefly with an electrician and construction worker they estimate damage cost about $60,000.

A little about my mom’s life, she worked all her life selling food to field workers. Once she retired from that life she spends her time helping others in need. She worked hard for the humble life she currently has. She refuses to put anyone out and she never says no to someone who needs her help weather it’s in prayer or a visit to the doctor.

We understand it’s hard times and with Christmas spending budgets are even tighter. Anything that you may feel from your heart prayer or otherwise would be greatly appreciated. Our family thanks you and God Bless you!

Mi nombre es Brenda R y la casa de mi mama el dia de hoy 1/7/2025 sufrio una perdida total causada por un incendio que comenso en la casa de su vecina. El incendio esta bajo investigación de parte del departamento de bomberos y policia. Esta no es la primera vez que mi madre se enfrenta esta mismo reto. En 1984 su hogar fue quemado y tuvo que empezar de zero. Con la ayuda de la comunidad desde dinero o tiempo, ella pudo obtener su hogar por los proximos 41 años.

Afortunadamente, el dia de hoy la unica perdia fue materialmente y no su vida ni salud. Su hogar fue declarado perdida total. Y como mi mama no quiere acudir ala comunidad nuevamente, mi hermana y yo lo estamos haciendo de parte de ella. Hablando breve mente con un electricista y un trabajor de construcción, el prosupuesto fue aproximadamente $60,000.

Un poco sobre la vida de mi mama: ella trabajo toda su vida haciendo comida y vendiendo burritos para los trabajadores del fil. Cuando ella se retiro de esa vida hoy su tiempo se la pasa ayudando a los demas. Ella trabajo muy duro para obtener la humilde vida q tiene. Ella se niega a no ayudar al prójimo, nunca le niega la ayuda a alguien, ya sea por una oración o una visita al doctor.

Entendemos que son tiempos dificiles, y con la fiestas navideñas que acaban de pasar, el presupuesto para gasta es menos. Cual quier cosa que sientas de tu corazón sea una oración o dinero va hacer bien recibido. Nuestra familia se los agradece y que Dios los Bendiga!
