On December 30, 2009, Just a few days after my 9th birthday I was diagnosed with Pre B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. I have now been in remission for nearly 5 years. I completeded an intensive 25 month chemotherapy protocol in February of 2012.
Each year since my diagnosis, instead of dwelling on the fact that I have cancer, I go back to Children's Hospital In Boston on my CANCERVERSARY and bring gifts to the kids who are inpatient on this day. It is important to me to remind them that people out there care about what they are going through.
I would like to ask for your help in making this the best year yet.
With all procedes raised, I will be buying Pillow Pets, itune gift cards and Amazon gift cards for the kids who are in the battle of their lives and hosting an Ice Cream Party.
