What we're up to:

In today’s society, few British people will ever see a deer in the wild. They won’t see falcons soaring above nor will they witness wild boar terraforming the forest floor.

Woodpeckers, goshawks, foxes, herons. These are the animals that are rumoured to be out there. Native to the UK, they never left their home. Through empires falling, revolutions rearranging, these wild fairytales live and breathe on the same grounds as us. Through ‘Breathing Grounds’, we aim to document the complex serenity of life in the untouched Great British woodlands.

What we'll spend your money on:

One of the main elements of production will be the acquisition of trap cameras. These cameras are expensive, with entry-level models costing >£200, but necessary for safe and high quality candid videography. It is important that the crew’s safety is not jeopardised when it comes to being near wild animals such as Boar and Deer.

The expenses of the crew such as catering, accommodation, equipment hire, animal specialists and travel across the UK will be covered by you.

As a production, we will use carbon offsetting in the form of tree planting in order to stay carbon neutral. Every penny you donate will help us to keep clean, green, and safe.
