Update: We have reached our goal and beyond! Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to make To Own a Dali a reality. For those that still want to contribute, you still can! Any funds above our goal will be utilized for future shows and the growth of Brave Umbrella Productions. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Friends, family, and fellow theatre enthusiasts,
Brave Umbrella Productions is a new theatre company started by four friends: David Gallagher, Echo Johnson, Gabe Carlin, and Juliet Rutter, who met in the theatre department at the University of Oregon.
Brave Umbrella is working on putting out its first staged production this Fall and we are asking you to help fund the production and bring it to life.
It is an original play written by David Gallagher and Juliet Rutter called To Own a Dali. It is about a group of people who attend a festival to be free, love each other, and listen to some great music.
The piece explores the experiences of being in a relationship without judgement; polyamorous, monogamous, or single.
As a company, Brave Umbrella has set out in hopes of introducing new audiences to theatre, and creating a space for the discussion of topics that occur in society today.
Please consider making a donation in order to help us grow as a company and reach new audiences!
Thank you so much.
