Braulia’s funeral costs

My Grandmother Braulia was visiting from mexico, she had just arrived on Sunday. She was with my other grandmother shopping around town on the city bus. They were on their way back home to my bb dads house, when they got to their bus stop across loyola they had to cross the road to get to the neighborhood on the other side. So they crossed one intersection, then when they were in the median my grandma Braulia took a step forward to cross, as she thought the road was clear to cross. Cars drive so fast on loyola, she might have not seen it stepping out but once in the middle & being elderly she couldn’t move out the way, especially since crossing that part you cant see if a car is coming.Sadly she only made it past one lane, when a suv BMW truck hit her causing her many injuries & making her land feet ahead. My father Adalberto was told about this moments later, he arrived on the scene when they were performing CPR on her until the medics arrived. He remembers seeing a big hit to her head. Sadly when medics arrived they tried CPR as well for a while but soon pronounced her dead. She never woke up, never had a chance. They said she died on impact. She was very very loved by her family, and by her grandchildren. We miss her so much, we are still in disbelief of what has happened. We were just with her, we remember her always say God was always with her wherever she went.
We are asking for money to help pay funeral expenses & to be able to take her back to mexico, her home & where she was born. We were told by police & detectives that its not likely the drivers fault, we most likely not see any compensation or help since there was no crosswalk. Even if he was speeding ordrunk, the most he will get most likely is a ticketIt very hard to hear this since the bus stop was on the opposite side of the road, only was to get to the other neighborhood (colony park) is to cross loyola. Mi abuela Braulia estaba de visita desde México, acababa de llegar el domingo. Ella estaba con mi otra abuela de compras por la ciudad en el autobús de la ciudad. Regresaron a casa de mi padre, cuando llegaron a su parada de autobús al otro lado de Loyola, tuvieron que cruzar la calle para llegar al vecindario al otro lado. Entonces cruzaron una intersección, luego, cuando estaban en la mediana, mi abuela Braulia dio un paso adelante para cruzar, ya que pensó que el camino estaba libre para cruzar. Los carros manejan a alta velocidad en la loyola y como esta hecha la calle si cruzas la loyola caminando no se ve si viene carro. Lamentablemente, solo pasó un carril, cuando un camioneta suv BMW la golpeó, causándole muchas lesiones y aterrizando unos pies asiadelate. A mi padre Adalberto le contaron sobre esto momentos después, él llegó a la escena cuando le estaban practicando CPR hasta que llegaron los médicos. Él recuerda haber visto un gran golpe en su cabeza. Lamentablemente, cuando llegaron los médicos, también intentaron CPR por un tiempo, pero pronto la declararon muerta. Ella nunca se despertó, nunca tuvo una oportunidad. Dijeron que murió en el impacto. Fue muy, muy querida por su familia y sus nietos. La extrañamos tanto que todavía no creemos lo que sucedió. Cuando estabamos con ella siempre decia que Dios siempre estaba con ella donde quiera que fuera.
Estamos pidiendo dinero para ayudar a pagar los gastos del funeral y poder llevarla de regreso a México, a su hogar y donde nació. La policía y los detectives nos dijeron que probablemente no sea culpa de el conductor, lo más probable es que no veamos ninguna compensación o ayuda ya que no hubo cruce de peatones. Incluso si estaba acelerando o ebrio
lo más probable es que obtenga solo un tickete. Es muy difícil escuchar esto ya que la parada del autobús estaba en el lado opuesto de la carretera, solo era llegar al otro vecindario (colony park), para cruzar loyola. Por favor, si puede ayudar, se lo agradeceríamos mucho, CUALQUIER COSA ayuda.
