I dont know where to start.
This amazing family is an amazing Christian Family. They are my VERY good friends. They are 47 year old Joel, 37 year old Abbie, 21 year old Riley, 11 year old Wayne, 9 1/2 year old Brooke & almost 8 year old Wyatt.
2018 has started off with a devastating blow to them. They started 2018 knowing that Abbie would no longer have a job come June when school is out. As she is an amazing 5th grade teacher who wont have a job to go back to in August so her income will end in June. Joel is the main bread winner for the family, or was. He can no longer work to provide for his amazing family.
Joel has always been an amazing Husband, Father & Provider but he can no longer provide for his amazing family.
Joel and his family just got the devastating news that Joel has Pancreatic Cancer, also now confirmed he has cancer in his lymph nodes, lungs, & liver. He has been in increasing pain since the beginning of January and has been hospitalized for the past week. His doctors are trying to get a treatment plan in place that will keep his pain managed as best they can but at this point that is all they can do as Joel is terminal and likely doesn't have very long.
Abbie is going to have to be able to carry on and provide for her beautiful family but is going to need as much financial help as possible. Hopefully she will be able to figure out a long to game plan soon but I am asking for financial help for her and her family to get them by temprarily.

I would like to personally thank everybody that has donated thus far. I am amazed at the generosity and human kindness.
Originally I set a goal of 5000 and that thankfully was quickly and easiy reached. Thank you all for your donations and support.
I have recently learned that the medical bills are likely going to go well over that because I didn't take the upcoming cost of Chemo and loss of medical insurance into account so I have increased our goal. Please keep sharing so donations can keep coming in.
