Hi, my name is Fonda. I am trying to raise funds for Brandon’s family. Brandon was the victim of a hit & run on 16th ave NW on October 17th, leaving him in critical condition. Brandon is my sons best friend, he is the sweetest, most polite and genuine boy that has ever come by the house with any of my boys. His family is consumed with stress, sadness and just the grief of the unknown. They do not know what the future holds for Brandon but they are certain that it will not be the future in which he was destined for. Brandon is brilliant, I remember Nick(my son) telling me how Brandon was the “best kid at math” that he had ever met, in grade 10. It saddens me, more than words can explain, that this has happened… and to still not have the driver come forward is incredibly disheartening.

No family should have to worry about living in destitute during such a tragic time, worrying of wether they can keep a roof over their heads while they focus on the care for Brandon. Easing their financial burden may be able to help with care for their other children, day to day expenses and responsibilities, as they should not have financial stress on top of this tragedy.

This lovely family needs a our community support to help them through this… they say it takes a village, and I truly hope that we can help them by relieving some financial pressure so they can focus on taking care of themselves, their other children and pets while being at Brandon’s side to ensure they are there when he wakes up.
