Brandon Anderson was tragically killed the night of november 11, 2017 in a car accident. After spending the day volunteering at a local Naples church, he did his weekend job of being an uber driver ferrying people to and fro. While waiting at a stop sign to make his turn, he was struck on the driver's side door and killed instantly. He was 23 year young. Surviving Brandon are his 6 brothers and sisters, his mother and his father. Brandon was a forgiving, generous and caring young man. He aspired to become a United States Marine and had reached his goal this past year being accepted and getting to boot camp. While in his first few days, the medical regime of shots along with the local flora native to Paris Island, Brandon had an allergic reaction causing anaphylatic shock nearly ending his life there. He was medically discharged and released from active duty. Most did not know the strength and fortitude of this young man. He was determined. He was in the process of re-enlisting by obtaining all the necessary medical waivers to become a Marine. He was passionate wanting to serve his country, his family and his friends.
During Brandon's life, he was an ardent friend and a steadfast brother. His family was very important to him, and he strove to become all he could for himself and them. He never wanted to be a burden on anyone and was so willing to help others. For those that knew Brandon, we all loved him for who he was and we continue to love him for all he represented and stood for. Brandon, you will be missed. We all love you.
