Brandon and Lajoie Rekus Home Fire
Donation protected
Sunday, July 9 2017 the Rekus family went to church, served on the worship team, took their five children swimming at the local pool and returned home to 12 fire trucks at their home. An outlet in their pantry had sparked and their home was in flames. The fire department controlled the fire, and left, however; later that night the home caught on fire again and they were able to salvage their 7 matching adoption shirts and 10 articles of clothing. Everything else: burned or destroyed by smoke/heat damage. This hardworking family has opened their hearts to children in need through adoption and foster care. They literally have the swimsuits they were in Sunday and some donated clothes. Their loved ones and friends have come together to help and asked for a way to donate online. This sweet family is so thankful for the love, prayers, and support!
