Brailyn’s Battle

Hey guys!
I am Brailyn Rhodes and I have struggled with kidney disease my whole life. While the health concerns were present since I was born, I always appeared healthy and happy, and I’ve always been able to live a pretty normal life. 

As of 02/09/20, my kidney disease and lupus combination became renal failure and weeks spent in the hospital. Simple movements put me at risk of a heart attack, i can no longer eat foods that a normal person would enjoy, i am on a cocktail of medications that make me feel awful and my routine changed completely .normal life left in the blink of an eye, and there is no return in sight. I have spent months in a hospital bed at this point, and I am on dialysis 3 days a week, 4 hours per day. I currently have a port in my chest that prevents me from doing normal daily activities such as going to work, taking a shower, and simple exercise. 

I am trying to gain money to not only pay the medical bills that I have acquired, but allow myself to find a better option for a dialysis port as well as eventually a new kidney. Every little bit makes a world of difference. 21 is way too young to accept this fate, and I REFUSE to stop my battle no matter how slim my odds are.
