Our beloved family member Bradly Sutton is truly an exceptional person. He is an all-around family man and an active member of his community. As a passionate Christian he has a fiery will to serve others who are less fortunate than himself. In his time at Trinity Baptist College his hobbies included spreading the word of God to the homeless community in downtown Jacksonville and volunteering in Sunday services at his church. He was also a staff member at Safe Harbor Boys Home where he mentored troubled young men. Selflessness is a motto that he has lived by. Bradly truly has touched and made a lasting impact on so many lives.
In 2015, Brad’s father, Mark, was diagnosed with liver cancer. After a fight with this cancer and a liver transplant, Mark was declared cancer-free. Early in 2017, Mark was again diagnosed with cancer that is currently spreading throughout his body. The Sutton family has been struggling to cope with all of the physical, emotional, and financial battles that come with cancer. Through all of this, Brad, Mark, and the rest of the family have continued to persevere despite the many obstacles they have faced.
Bradly needs our help now.
On September 11th, 2017, Brad was involved in a horrific motorcycle accident that left him with broken T8/T9 vertebrae. The doctors are still unsure of his prognosis. His other injuries included road rash, a concussion, a lung contusion, and a large gash in his right leg. In an emergency surgery he had a large amount of muscle removed from his leg and more surgeries are expected to come.
Bradly will have a long road to recovery that will often seem lonely and overwhelming but with your help we can show him that he is absolutely not alone in his struggles.
A spinal injury like Brad’s comes with many expenses including the best rehab he can get and home adjustments to support a wheelchair among many other costs. Together we can allow him to focus on his journey rather than the price of it. If anyone can come out on top of this, it’s Brad.
