Bradford Kruger’s Fight

Let me introduce you to my cousin Jackie’s husband Brad. He’s the funniest person you will ever meet. He’s smart, quick witted and a total computer geek. He has two beautiful daughters, Peighton and Sully, who want to have their dad come home to stay.

Last Christmas Brad noticed a red bump on his head that bled easily when it was touched. It got bigger and bled easily so his doctor sent him to a plastic surgeon to have it removed for identification. The Doctor did that in February 2022. Brad has a rare case of many of these lesions on his head and face. Most recently they are developing in his mouth.

At around the same time Brad began having shoulder pain that did not go away with pain medication. The pain is never ending and has caused Brad to be off work. Brad’s family doctor referred him for ct scan, an mri, and an X-ray for the shoulder pain. Nothing showed conclusive on the X-ray.

In April, Brad was scooping ice cream for his girls and broke his arm. Jackie called 911 as she could not get him off the floor thinking his shoulder broke. He had a spiral fracture of his right humerus.

The family doctor is stumped as to what these lesions mean and why are they happening.

At the end of May Brad was diagnosed with “Metastatic Angiosarcoma”. Angiosarcoma is a rare type of cancer that forms in the lining of the blood vessels. In Brad’s case it effects his scalp and face.

Although this is a devastating diagnosis, we know Brad is a fighter. He is being treated aggressively with radiation and chemotherapy at the Regina Pasqua Hospital in the hopes of returning home and having quality time with his family and friends. Brad requires specific medical equipment to be able to stay home comfortably. We hope funds raised will get the things he needs without further financial burden on his family.

Many people have asked how they can help Brad and his family, and I know they hate asking for financial assistance. This is why I am asking you to help support Brad and Jackie so they don’t have to struggle to make ends meet. This is the best way I feel you can support them right now.

All the funds raised will go to Jackie and her family to purchase adaptive medical equipment Brad needs for him to be able to come home as well as helping the family with everyday costs of living. Please, share Brad’s story and help me help this family.
