The Journey Of Bradee and Brodee Poore

The twins were born at 27 weeks gestation weighing only 1lb. 13 oz. and 2 lb. 2 oz., with Goldenhar Syndrome. A very rare syndrome that affects the skull and facial bones along with that were other health problems that either existed or developed along the way. Needless to say the boys have a long road ahead of them. Both boys have had numerous surgeries and still have surgeries planned in their future. Both boys have trachs in order to breathe, they receive their nutrition via g-button. They cannot swallow safely and risk aspiration if they take food in orally so they have never tasted ice cream or cookies or chocolate milk, all the things children love. Between both boys they have 9 doctors in the Fort Worth area. This means several appointments trips each month. we are trying to raise money for either a down payment or to buy out right a larger and safer mode of transportation for them. When they travel the vehicle has to be able to hold mom, both boys with car seats, both of the nurse's for the boys, 2 wheelchairs and 3 bags for each boy to travel safely.
