Brad Frith's ALS Medical Fund

In January of 2017, Brad was diagnosed with ALS.  After a fall in July 2016 when he did not regain full strength in his left arm, he consulted doctors and ultimately a neurologist at PENN delivered the ALS diagnosis.  In the last 3 years, Brad, Amy, Addison (12), Henry (11) & Liberty (11) have faced this horrific disease head on with courage, determination, a sense of humor and endless love.  Brad's will to live and his incredible mind for problem solving and technology has allowed him to continue to face and adjust to every obstacle, loss and impact on his independence the last 3 years.   Amy has devoted herself fully to Brad's care and supporting her children to process and adjust to the devastating impact of ALS on their family.  At this time, Brad requires 24 hour care to support his medical and physical needs at home.

Brad's medical care currently costs $15,000/month but it continues to evolve as his needs change.  At this time, Brad's medical fund has been depleted.  As friends of the Frith family, we are inviting you to join us in raising $90,000 to help support Brad's medical expenses for 2020.  The funds you donate today will be put to use immediately to continue Brad’s in-home care.  As you can only imagine, Covid-19 has brought new challenges and anxiety to supporting Brad's medical needs.

Some of you reading this message have already been supporting the Frith family for years; bringing meals/ groceries, offering to carpool, donating to their medical fund or simply offering friendship, prayers, kindness and love along the way.  Please know that all of your on-going support has been recognized and SO appreciated.  Battling ALS takes a village and the Frith family could not continue to fight without you by their side.

We have 2 options for donating to support Brad's in-home medical expenses:
1) right here through the Go Fund Me page  OR  2) through the D'Angelo Foundation.

We have added this new exciting way to grow your donation through the D'Angelo Foundation.  Donations are now tax deductible and match eligible for many employers through the D'Angelo Foundation.  You can learn more or contribute here at http://www.thedangelofoundation.org/frith-family-fund.html
