Heather

This is Heather's story, by the grace of God she is still with us!
On June 23rd Heather went to emergency for severe pain in her back the doctor said it probably was a kidney stone and she needed a cat scan. Heather was a healthy woman with no heart problems, after hours waiting she was taken to get her cat scan and her heart stopped.
Yes, she died! After CPR and 5 shocks to her heart it was a miracle and started again.
Heather was on a ventilator in ICU then cardiac care then to a rehab.
She now has a defibrillator and the doctors still do not know what happen.
She can no longer work, drive, and now needs assistance with daily care. Heather's life is forever changed and unable to remember at times.
She is undergoing physical therapy and speech therapy and soon will have no insurance.
Heather will be on heart medicines the rest of her life.
Heather's prognosis is unknown. Heather was the backbone of her family, which consists of her husband,10 year old son, daughter's age 16 through 20 and a 2 year old granddaughter. It is a full house with only one income. Disability takes a long time to process.
God gave her back to us and we pray God touches your heart to help.
