Hello Friends and Family,
Many of you know that I've been having issues with my foot for some time now. Over the years, doctor after doctor offered me orthodics and each time the pain persisted. In October of 2013 the pain in my foot and ankle made it almost unbearable to do simple things like my daily commute and walk my dog.
Long complicated story short. We decided that it was time to for surgery to repair my achillies tendone and foot. I was asked to go out on medical leave rather then work remotely for the duration of my recovery. My Short term disability insurance claim was denied for fine print reasons and NY state disability isn't much. The surgery will help me get my life back on track, but it has left me in a situation that is going to be difficult to recover from even after I am cleared to go back to work.
The plot thickens when we discover that my car is in need of several repairs before other components start crapping out. This will be needed when I return to work.
Bills, Medical Bills, Physical Therapy, Auto repairs, I'm roughly $9200 over my head at this point and one more month of bills before I can start working again. If you could help me balance out, it would help me get back on my feet after all is said and done.
