Anyone who is friends or family with Robin Miller knows he is truly “One of a Kind.” He calls them as he sees them, telling the truth regardless of the consequences (of which he’s faced many)! You either love him or hate him, and he’s okay with that. His world revolves around family, friends, and sports. He’s married to his career and cherishes his relationships and experiences of a “Life with No Regrets.” He is a self-proclaimed “Ass” (which can sometimes be true), but most find him someone, they can count on in the good times and especially in the bad. Robin is generous, loving, and kind… he’s one of the good guys.
Lately, he’s been down on his luck due to his Multiple Myeloma and Leukemia. However, he still manages to make his friends laugh and enjoy the moment, always the ultimate storyteller!
Robin might be getting “lapped” these days, along with a yellow caution light flaring up a time or two, but he hasn’t been red-flagged yet… So he’s still in the race!
As Robin stated in a recent article, he wrote to RACER nation; “Might be a 50-lapper, could be an enduro or you might get lucky and run for a year or two. I don’t know what the future holds, but I’m at peace with whatever happens, be it a year or six months or six weeks or six hours. My plan is to move to Phoenix later this year because I want to watch the nephews and niece grow up and just peacefully pass on surrounded by my family, whenever it’s time”. Our purpose in starting this page is to ease the burden of some of the astronomical medical costs not covered by insurance that Robin has recently endured during his treatment program. Let’s help him live out whatever time he has left, focusing his energy solely on what matters most!
