BPRB Youth MTB Colorado Trip
Donation protected
Black People Ride Bikes, Inc. (BPRB) a non-profit advocacy cycling organization based in Baltimore is writing to ask you for your support to help us take ten inner-city youth from Baltimore City (6 young ladies and 4 young men) to participate in the 2021 USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Competition to be held in July 2021 in Winter Park, CO.
A national event of this magnitude would expose this youth to other youth from around the country and open the door to more diversity and inclusion in mountain biking.
This trip has the potential to transform the youth that participate and open them up to the multitude of possibilities outdoor sports have to offer.
BPRB, Inc. assists people of color in our community in embracing the many benefits of cycling and without donations from individuals like you, this would not be possible.
Your donations help to benefit the community which we serve and makes it possible for the young inner city girls and boys to have consciousness expanding experiences that change their perception and others of their own personal capacity and capabilities.
Mountain biking, particularly, has many benefits such as exploration, community building, improved stress management and various health benefits. We believe that with the proper introduction and experiential education more people of color will gravitate towards outdoor sports like mountain biking.
