Thank you for showing interest in my GoFund Me campaign. My boyfriend Robert Parks has been diagnosed with a terrible aggressive form cancer called Renal Medullary Cell Carcinoma. He has been through numerous treatments locally here in Pittsburgh PA such as chemotherapy, immune therapy and radiation. After failed treatment attempts, Robert's tumors continue to grow and spread. His body has weaked due to the continous treatments but his spirit and his love for his life remains strong. Robert is but 24 years young and has his whole life ahead of him! He is a father to a beautiful baby girl for which he cherishes greatly. Roberts will to live to watch his young daughter grow is one of his greatest passions he speaks of. Robert has been given the opportunity to travel to a cancer center located in Houston Texas called MD Anderson Cancer Treatment Center. This location specializes in aggressive forms of cancers. While there are no guarantees in the world of cancer treatments, we are told MD Anderson is his best next step option for treatment.

Unfortunately, Roberts insurance does not cover the travel related expenses. We are asking for donations that will help offset the cost for his stay in Texas, food, daily expenses, along with any other non-covered or out of pocket medical related expenses.

We ask that you donate what you can to lessen the financial burden from Robert and those closest to him. Being able to get him down to Texas to receive treatments that are not available to him here in Pittsburgh PA is crutial so that Robert has his best chance at beating cancers A$$!

Please assist Robert in any way you can. Let's all come together and give Robert his chance in life. The chance to live out a full life and the opportunity to watch his young daughter grow.
