As a result of the brutality and human rights violations of civil war in West Africa, BOY Jerry and his mother ("sister") were forced to flee their home country to escape the harrowing atrocities all too familiar with civil war in West Africa.

BOY Jerry's mother ("sister") was only 12 years of age when she gave birth.
