Bowl-a-thon Fundraiser

It is with a heavy heart that I write this today. My firm DLA, LLC, where I am a Partner and Business Group Leader, lost a great team member and colleague last summer. Irene O’Donnell, our Director of Human Resources, lost a tough battle with cancer. Irene was survived by her two minor children, Dylan and Devon. Irene’s husband passed away only two short years before she lost her life. Since Dylan and Devon lost both their parents at such a young age, covering their educational expenses will prove challenging.
As a Trustee of the DLA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, we are in coordination with DLA,LLC are putting together a fundraiser to help raise $100,000 for the boys to help them cover the cost of college.
The donations received will be directly deposited into the DLA Foundation account and will be closely monitored and the full amount raised will be given to the children through scholarship.
My company is holding a bowl-a-thon on March 13th to help fundraise and I am asking for you to sponsor me as a bowler with a direct donation.
This is an event and cause that is extremely personal and important to me. I greatly appreciate your help. Any amount will help.
