A QUICK SUMMARY:
Boston 1 Dragon Boat Team has finally achieved a goal we have pursued for 5 years: going to Hungary and participating in the World Championships. We are looking to fundraise enough money to provide substantial financial aid to our paddlers most in need (particularly students) so they can participate on a journey they have worked so hard for. Thank you!
Where: Szeged, Hungary for the 11th International Dragon Boat Festival Club Crew World Championships
When: July 17-22, 2018
What you can do: Donate or share this campaign! The cost of a week-long, international trip is a significant one. Between juggling classes, jobs, and practice, we are sure to appreciate your contributions. Your efforts will help fund transportation (flight & on ground), food (to power us through the races), and lodging (a place to rest after paddling hard) for those on the team who need the most aid. We hope to earn your support with a strong showing at Hungary!
