Bonita-Teachers Against Child Detention

My husband and I are both elementary teachers in St. Paul, MN. We want to join teachers calling for the immediate release of immigrant children being held in detention. On Sunday, February 17, 2019 Teachers Against Child Detention (TACD) will stage a live streamed "Teach-In for Freedom" in El Paso, Texas.
We would like to represent Minnesota at the Teach-In. As career teachers with a son in college, we need help. Travel and lodging expenses will be a challenge, but we also want to donate to the cause of TACD so resources and services can be provided to the innocent children being held in detention. Spanish language book donations will be our priority.
We appreciate your support in solidarity with innocent immigrant children.
