Bones for Kodak

You may have heard that our friend Kodak Hersey-Marias had an accident. Long story short, she was hit by a car, her pelvis was broken, and underwent serious surgery on her sacrum. Doctors say she's a fighter (we all knew that) and she's healing...which is all amazing news.

One thing you maybe don't think about in all of this is how expensive these life-saving treatments are. Astoundingly, with the stay in the pet ICU, specialist consultations, surgery, and care, it will cost $15,000 [insert flabbergasted emoji].

We are so fortunate to have the Erin/Eli/Kodak trio in our lives. They put us up in their house, drive our butts around, feed us, let us snuggle with them, call when we are feeling blue, smoke us meat, get us beers, organize the best camping trips, and basically add an incredible engery and friendship in our lives.
