Bone Marrow Transplant for Teodora

Teodora is 7 years old and she is the granddaughter of my high school classmate Voda Florin. She was recently diagnosed with myelodysplasia, and needs a bone marrow  transplant. Right now, she is in Italy for treatment. Teodora is on the waiting list to hopefully find a compatible donor. The transplant has to be done as soon as possible, as she faces an increasing risk of leukemia and other types of blood cancer the longer she waits. The treatment in Italy is very expensive, so we are collecting donations to help this beautiful girl get well and return home healthy. Every donation counts! Thank you so much!


Teodora este nepoata colegului meu de liceu Voda Florin. Are 7 ani si de curand a fost diagnosticata in Italia, ca suferind de sindrom mielodisplazic. Singura sansa de vindecare este prin transplant de maduva de la donator strain care sa fie cat mai compatibil. Transplantul trebuie facut cat mai repede fiindca exista riscul ca boala sa se transforme in leucemie sau alte tipuri de cancer. Pentru transplant, a fost deja introdusa pe lista de asteptare. Tratamentul si spitalizarea in Italia sunt foarte costisitoare, de aceea va rog sa donati cat puteti pentru a o ajuta pe Teodora sa se faca bine. Orice suma este binevenita. Va multumesc mult!
