Bodas de Sangre Flamenco production

Maria Serrano Flamenco Dance Academy is back at it again! The academy is working towards a new production in May 2018 -- Bodas de Sangre , a play by Spanish writer Federico Garcia Lorca.
This production is student-based, and provides a unique opportunity for students of the academy to excute a production, accompanied by live music, rather than do a year-end recital. The academy aims to make this type of project accessible to all those who share a passion for Flamenco, regardless of whether they identify as professional, semi-pro, amateurs, etc.
In order to pull off a high quality production we need your help! We hope to bring professional pianist David Bermudez (Spain) to join us as the Musical Director. In addition, we would love to have the raw and powerful vocals of Carmen Fernandez (Spain).
Your contributions will go toward: round trip flights (europe/canada), affordable but decent accomodations for 1 week, and appropriate wages for both David and Carmen.
We have a commitment to compensate all of our musicians, whether they are local or guests, for their rehearsal time and performance in the show. Contributions beyond our goal will assist us covering these expenses, along with any theatre-related expenses such as equipment rental, theatre technicians, etc.
Your contributions will help us bring Bodas de Sangre to life, while creating an amazing opportunity for our students! Donations of any amount would be so deeply appreciated. There is no right or wrong amount, or amount that is too small to go unnoticed.
