Hello I am Vanessa Bobby's sister, fundraising on behalf of our Mom Debbie. Our tremendously loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, friend, co-worker and so much more, has gone to rest in God's garden.

My brother was robbed of his young life days before his birthday. Bobby had yet to live his dreams and was stolen from our lives in a heartbeat. Mental health is a major problem in our society today and the Toronto Police system failed him with negligence.

Toronto Police insisted they arrived to take Bobby to the hospital where he would be treated for mental health. For 6+ hours my parents begged repeatedly with police to speak to their son, without being told any information.

We were held barricaded in the superintendent's office while an army of Toronto Police/SWAT Team Officers were in Bobby's Home, a place he thought he was safe. Every time we asked questions on what was going on with Bobby, they insisted they had called a doctor, who was coming to speak to him.

Unfortunately, our long wait came to a shocking end, close to 11pm. AFTER he passed earlier that day(6+ hours before) they waited many many hours then came into the Super's office breaking the news to his 7 Family Members that were present that entire Night. This was the only information given to the family on this brutal night.

His tragic unexpected passing has shocked us all and left us empty. Taresh Bobby Ramroop passed on October 13th, 2022.

His death was preventable, Toronto Police came with the intention that day. They chose Bobby and decided they were going to take precious life from him & us. No doctor ever arrived to speak to him. We need Justice, Mental Health Support, & recognize the importance of dispatching multiple police officers & a S.W.A.T Team to Mental Health Crisis Calls.

I am asking the community to join us in coming together to do what we can for Bobby's family in their time of need, especially our mother Debbie.

"Your life was a blessing, your memory is a treasure. You are loved beyond measure and missed beyond words." - Love; Mom, Sud, Vanessa always.
