This fundraiser in memory of Bob Seemiller will primarily fund the beginning of the Bob Seemiller scholarship foundation.
He was everything a person could want to be. A family man who worked hard, loved living, and savored the little moments of beauty in every day.
My dream for this fund is to give back to the community he lived and worked in, in his memory for many years to come. Although he had little more than an 8th grade education, Bob was incredibly smart and talented, being an business owner, mechanic shop manager, and self taught carpenter. There was nothing he couldn't do if he put his mind to it! I hope to inspire this kind of attitude in others with a scholarship for (primarily but not limited to) technical and/or trade students, and young people with that special gift of ingenuity and creativity.
These beginning donations will help to pay for the set up costs of the non-profit foundation, and the beginning of the funds available for upcoming graduates.
I hope to post more plans and progress as we begin to receive donations. Thank you all and happy holidays!
