Bob Nance B A Building Renovation
Donation protected
Over 20 years ago Coach Bob Nance (Uncle Bob) had a vision to help develop the basketball talent of the youth in the inner-city while also providing the necessary life skills for navigating life in these trying times. As a result, the Bob Nance Basketball Academy was born.

During the past 20 years Bob has helped both boys and girls become men and ladies. Some of which have gone on to college and professional basketball careers throughout the world. Bob has selflessly given up his time to these young men and women to sharpen their skills.
Three years ago, Bob decided that he needed to reach those less fortunate to give them an opportunity to better their lives. An opportunity arose to purchase the abandoned Saint Philip Neri Catholic Church on east side of Cleveland. The idea is to turn the building into a training center with outreach programs to the community. Since the closure of the church building has been neglected and is in urgent need of extensive repairs. Some of the repairs include: roofing, electrical, plumbing, heating, flooring etc. The estimated costs for these repairs are more than $100,000.
The goal is to raise the needed funding to renovate the building. It is the academy's goal to have the facility up and serving the community by January 2019.
