Bob Cass wont let a stroke of bad luck stop him.

The afternoon of February 26, 2020 our friend and co-worker, Bob Cass had a life altering stroke while he was finishing up work at Big Sky Fastener Supply. He began to notice some difficulty with speech and his left hand fingers were feeling numb and tingling. He was taken to the emergency room at North Valley Hospital and immediately admitted. After having an MRI it was determined he had a "significant" Ischemic stroke on the right side of his brain-affecting the left side of his body. Waking up the next day Bob had little function of his left hand and leg. He would spend the next week in the ICU unit being closely monitored. Then starting therapy to teach his body to walk, talk and swallow without choking. The stroke had also left him with Binocular Diplopia (double vision). A total stay in the hospital of two weeks saw some good progress towards recovery. He was released to outpatient therapy with four to six appointments per week to help in his strength, balance, vision and speech.  Bob had recently started up a pottery studio, his passion, with hope of creating a community clay art center. Sadly, this is now delayed but serves as motivation to get to a full recovery. 

As one can imagine this has been a huge financial blow to Bob and his wife Lori. So, it is with this request to friends, family and co-workers that if you can contribute any amount it would be greatly and humbly appreciated. Bob hopes to be released for part time work within a couple weeks but the medical bills will be beginning.
