Bob Bachmann's Medical Fund

I know so many of you are tired of seeing GoFundMes or requests for financial assistance and I am loathe to ask for aid, but the situation really is dire here. Many of you know Bob, my husband (and caretaker since I lost use of my legs three years ago). He lost his job a couple of months ago and was about to start a new position when disaster struck. He complained of feeling like his legs were falling asleep and went to Urgent Care. His blood pressure was extremely high and he was transferred to the hospital. They found he had about a liter of fluid around his heart. During the surgery to remove the fluid and place a tube, he suffered a stroke and remains on the ventilator only able to move his left side. He's also been wrestling with pneumonia and a fever, but no Covid thankfully. There is hope. He's opening his baby blues and squeezing people's hands.

So many of our friends have asked "Is there anything I can do?" Well yes there is. PLEASE give if you are able and PLEASE SHARE THIS FAR AND WIDE. Bob is without insurance and the cost of surgery and the ICU for 8 days so far is astronomical. Post hospitalization rehab costs are also daunting. I am looking into various charities but the bills are mounting in the meantime. Unless you are practically homeless, many options are closed to us. I know this burden shared among many can be shouldered.

Bob is a quiet, unassuming man, but he is kind and thoughtful with love for his family and friends. Please help him in his time of need with kind thoughts, prayers and any financial assistance you can spare.
