Bob and Flo Benton's House

Bob Benton, pastor of Sitka Christian Center for almost 40 years, is dying of liver cancer.  He gave his life in service of others and, even though he lived in a small Alaskan island community, his life has impacted people around the world.

Yet many people aren't aware of the state of his house.  He has lived without sheet rock on his walls, without carpet on his floors, and with appliances that only half work for decades.  Death is never timely, but it has certainly caught our family off guard.
