Bob & Karen Hartman

On Saturday ( 9/15/18 )  My brother Bob Hartman passed away after an illness.  Bob was married to Karen for over 40 years.  They were an inseparable couple. In early spring Karen was admitted to U Mass for an illness. She is still hospitalized but has been making progress, and is due to be released to long term care soon. After Karen was admitted, Bob became ill and was admitted also  into the same hospital. There  was a brief time when they were able to see each other until they took turns going into rehabilitation facilities. Both Elaine and I tried to get them into the same facility but they were never well enough to both be out of the hospital at the same time.  Bob  was the most giving person I've known. He was involved with The Masons for over 30 years and was also involved with helping others in need.  We thank you  so much for loving and supporting him. In lieu of flowers we ask for donations to help Karen Hartman in her time of need.    Thank You, Rick Hartman
