Love for Artsakh

Donation protected
On the early mornings of September 27th, The Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabagh region)  was attacked by coordinated Azerbaijani military forces. Stepanakert and neighboring villages are currently being shelled, and civilians are being targeted. Both Armenia and the Nagorno Karabagh region has recently declared martial law and has mobilized their armies to defend their borders, as tensions continue to escalate.

Right now, Armenians around the world are joining hands and standing firm by coordinating aid and voluntarily serving on the frontlines of war. We need to support families hiding in bomb shelters, bunkers, and basements by finding them homes in Armenia and by helping them in any way possible.

With the fundraised money we will be supporting families who were internally displaced and need temporary and immediate shelter, clothing, and food.  Since September 27th, our NGO has sent locally donated aid to families in Artsakh. Recently with the help of our volunteers, we sent a truck full of food, clothes, toys to children, and mothers who have been temporarily brought to Yerevan for protection. United Student Council has been supporting refugee hostels with donated food, medical supplies, and clothes, and will need your help to continue feeding, clothing, and cleaning them.

Our NGO, United Student Council was founded by a group of young driven students who have been advocating for student's rights, and volunteering and trying to make a difference in the world. For the past 3 months, our team has been doing donation drives for the Tavush border clashes in July, sending over three tons of humanitarian aid to Lebanon, and finally now supporting soldiers and families on the front lines of war.

Our partner Evelyn Ayrapetova at Amplify Armenia, a notable Armenian organization in the United States, will be collecting the fundraised money, and wiring it to us in Armenia to provide families with food, temporary shelter, and ways to keep them busy, like renting professional therapists and keeping families pull through emotional trauma, providing cleaning supplies for hostels who are hosting hundreds of kids.
