Blues Mask Brigade Declares War on Covid-19

The Blues community consisting of Blues artists and blues lovers all around the country assemble teams of seamstresses to make the masks that are critically needed to support personnel and countless volunteers who fight on the front lines of the battle to save lives against the coronavirus. One of our focus has been retirement and convalescent centers where the virus has hit hard. To-date we have made and distributed 1,500 masks.

We need funds to continue our mission, money that will be used to purchase materials to make the masks (the fabric, elastic, thread, needles, plastic bags, etc.) and funds to ship the masks to the areas of greatest need everywhere and anywhere all around the country.

We have a team of cutters that’s been working hard cutting the fabric and putting together the materials which will be sent directly to each seamstress to assemble. Our goal is to supply as many as needed, but we urgently need your help! We are united in our fight to save lives. Please join us?
