A Really Bloody Intensive August
Intensive Care Units around the world are at the frontline of the fight against COVID-19. The wonderful Nurses and Doctors in ICU’s pop on their PPE and put themselves in harm’s way every day to save lives and get people better.
All I’m doing is running 497km in August to raise a bit of cash to fund vital Intensive Care Research. It’s nowt compared to what they do each and every day.
The Intensive Care Research Foundation is fully funded by the College of Intensive Care Medicine and the Society of Intensive Care. This means that every single dollar raised goes to fund research. And that means that lives are saved.
You never know - one day I might end up in ICU. Or you might.
Note - I’m the Deputy Chair of the Intensive Care Foundation. It’s an unpaid position of course, I’m just passionate about research that saves lives!!
Please help me raise $5k. Cheers
Ps .... I won’t be drinking for all of August. You can’t run 500km and drink
