Blood for The New Blood

Hi everyone. 

So I've never been out of the country, and I've never given blood.

This Summer, I want to do both. 

Last week, I found out that out D&AD New Blood entry won a Pencil. The team, consisting of me, Sydney Lindsey, Sydney Lippman, and Nick Landon worked our butts off on our entry and we're thrilled to be chosen as winners. We've also been invited to attend the New Blood Award Ceremony in London in July.  

Naturally, flights are expensive. So I'm raising money for my flight and travel expenses. 

But I also want to tie this to a good cause.

Hence, Blood for the New Blood. I'll be matching your donations with blood donations of my own. 

Any donations are accepted and very much appreciated. Here's a break down on what you'll get in return, and what I'll be donating. 

$20 or less:  Get a handwritten thank you note!

$50:  I’ll personally call you to thank you (or leave you a nice voicemail)

$75: Here's where it gets interesting. If you make a donation of $75 or more, I'll donate blood in your honor. I'll even send you a picture of the donation (or a thank you note if you're squeamish.)

$100: Get a donation in your honor and a case of your favorite flavor of La Croix mailed to your door. (You also get a note and a phone call.)

$150 or more: If you're feeling super generous, then I'll facetime you during my donation to say hi. If you're totally not into that, you still get a donation in your honor, a note, phone call, and TWO cases of La Croix mailed to you. 

I would like to cap this at 20 donations. (75 x 20 = 1500) If this goes well, I'll still be donating blood well after I return from London. Naturally, there's a waiting time between blood donations, so allow some time for "processing." Nonetheless, if you're donating, I will be too.
