Mike's rally against SIBO

In 2003-2004, when Mike was deployed to the war in Iraq, he contracted a stomach bug. Even when he returned, he didn't find relief and the Army diagnosed it as Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
Throughout the years, with many different doctors and various medications, it was only getting worse. The last few years have been the worst to include Mike losing weight.
When the Blocks moved to Utah, Mike started to see an acupuncture clinic that merges Western medicine practitioners and tests with Eastern practices, such as acupuncture and herbal remedies. They diagnosed him with SIBO, or Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth. It's a nasty condition that requires several rounds of treatments and antibiotics and could possibly take a year to eradicate the condition.
The Blocks have relentlessly tried to get the VA to pay for these treatments, since it is service connected. The VA has not pulled through yet, and the clinic doesn't take insurance. Mike wants to continue with this clinic and treatment, since he feels better than he's felt in months (maybe years), and he finds great relief in the acupuncture treatments also.
The Blocks have already paid out of pocket for about 4 months of treatments, supplements, medications, dietary restrictions, and tests. Mike still needs another year of treatments and medications.
They are swimming in bills, and could use all the help they could get. Not to mention that their dog died recently, and they had a flood in Bella's room, forcing them to tear the wall and carpet up. These have all been unexpected expenses, and they feel that they just can't catch their breath!
They are still holding onto their faith and joy in God, faithfully serving the Salt Lake Christian Church. Please consider giving whatever you can to lighten their load. They would appreciate any gift you could give, or simply just your prayers!!
