About Us:
Hi! Our names are Emily and Ben. Not only are we best friends but we're creative partners as well! We're like a mullet, best of both worlds.
Our passion is filmmaking. Film has shaped the way we view the world and we have all shared the collective childhood dream of joining that community. There is something to be learned from every film, whether it tells the story of an entire culture or offers a glimpse into the life of a lone individual. Film is the best medium to share personal knowledge with others, as it offers viewers a new perspective on life – often without them realizing they’ve absorbed the information.
This particular story is called “Blind Love.” It tells the tale of a quirky barista, Sarah, and a reclusive blind man, John, and the twisted relationship they weave. Through their story we learn the value of mutual respect, understand the overwhelming human desire to be loved, and explore the what it truly means to be lonely.
We plan to shoot our project at the end of this month (March 30-April 1). Our team is comprised of up-and-coming filmmakers who are eager to bring this project to life – a “dream team,” if you will. Our cinematographer knows his aesthetics, the cast is talented, and our hard-working crew is dedicated to the task at hand. We are all ready to take this step forward in order to tell this story the way it is meant to be told. The film business is a challenging one, not meant for the faint of heart, but we are prepared to take things into our own hands and show our industry colleagues what we are made of.
We have no doubt that the audience will be entertained by the story we plan to tell. All we need to accomplish this goal is your help in order to prove ourselves in the world of filmmaking.
