Brynna Hudson is the 2 year old daughter of Joe & Kyna (Shields) Hudson and little sister to Garrett and Baylen. She was diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL) in August 2014. She is undergoing Chemo treatment in Amarillo, Texas.
Wanted to reach out for prayers, encouragement, and agreement for our daughters healing. We know she is begin healed, and believing for her healing everyday. We know every good and perfect thing comes God. And He is our healer.
A few days ago as parents we were told some news that would change our lives, change our daughters life, change our families lives. Hearing the words "we have asked the pedi oncologist to come in" That was not what I could have ever dreamed of. I know my baby didn't feel well, I know my baby's color was off, I know my baby had bruises but what 2 year old doesn't play rough and tough and bruises? but to hear Childhood cancer? Leukemia? I'm being told this in the ER? It was a lot to hear. I Could not wrap my head around it.
We know this change will have its moments, ups and downs filled with emotions as well. We also know that we have already seen our faith strengthened by this. We also know that God is at the center and He will NEVER leave us or forsake us.
We have been surrounded by wonderful family, friends, new friends! And our church families as well. And we cannot thank you enough for your prayers. Cannot thank the Doctors, and the Doctors that have asked to pray for Brynna before surgery. What a wonderful calming to know the ones looking after your daughter are asking "I want to pray for your daughter before I take her back" asking for The Lord guidance, and professing, God you are the ultimate physician and You are our healer.
We know everyone that comes in contact with Brynna cannot help, but fall in love with her. She is such a bright shining star, so full of life and charm, with a pinch of little orneriness added in. We know her journey and story is going to touch and strengthen other families that hear her story, and strengthen our family and bring us closer, closer to our Heavenly Father.
She will be starting IV chemo shortly. And whenever, wherever you are if she is on your mind or thinking of her, us, please stop wherever you are and say a prayer for us.
